Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives
Kalvari Educational Rural Women and Child Welfare Development Society (KERWCWDS) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized communities through focused initiatives aimed at empowering women, children, youth, the aged, scheduled castes, and tribals. Founded with a mission to uplift and transform communities, we work relentlessly towards social justice, inclusion, and community development.
Our Work
At Kalvari Educational Rural Women and Child Welfare Development Society (KERWCWDS), we are driven by the vision of building empowered and self-reliant communities. Our work spans diverse areas, addressing the challenges faced by underserved groups and creating pathways for a brighter, inclusive future.
Through grassroots efforts, community engagement, and strategic programs, we strive to bring about meaningful and lasting change.
Women Empowerment
Empowering women is at the core of our mission. We provide vocational training, financial literacy programs, and leadership workshops to enable women to become self-reliant and active contributors to their communities. By addressing gender inequality, we create opportunities for women to thrive.
Education and Youth Development
Education is a transformative tool, and we focus on making it accessible to every child. From scholarships and school supplies to skill-building workshops and career counseling, we invest in the future by nurturing young minds. Our youth development initiatives empower the next generation with confidence and capability.
Scheduled Castes and Tribal Development
Marginalized groups, including Scheduled Castes and Tribes, face unique challenges that require targeted solutions. We work closely with these communities to improve access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities, helping them overcome systemic barriers and achieve equitable growth.
Senior Citizen Welfare
Respecting and caring for the elderly is a vital part of our work. We provide support systems, healthcare services, and community engagement opportunities to ensure senior citizens lead a dignified and fulfilling life.
Disaster Relief and Crisis Management
When disasters strike, we are on the ground to provide immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation support. From distributing essential supplies to rebuilding lives, we stand with affected communities during their toughest times.
Community Livelihoods
Building sustainable livelihoods is central to our mission. We provide vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and financial literacy programs to help individuals and families achieve economic stability and self-reliance.
Healthcare and Well-being
Good health is essential for a thriving community. We organize health camps, awareness campaigns, and preventive care programs to address the healthcare needs of vulnerable populations. From basic check-ups to specialized support, we ensure that no one is left behind.
Environmental Sustainability
Protecting the environment is key to sustaining communities. We promote green practices through tree plantation drives, waste management campaigns, and awareness programs, encouraging communities to live in harmony with nature.
Advocacy and Awareness
Empowering communities begins with awareness. Through workshops, campaigns, and community meetings, we educate individuals on issues like gender equality, child rights, and health, encouraging them to make informed decisions and lead empowered lives.
